Found Objects From The Ruins Of Our Future.
What will future archaeologists say when they excavate our inevitable ruins? What kinds of histories will they manufacture about us? What narratives will they construct about our daily lives from the objects that remain? What feasts will they recreate from the residue in our ancient plastic vessels? What rituals and rites will they reconstruct from the rubble of the spaces we shared? Attempting to understand intimacy and shared meaning from the distance of centuries by piecing together the narrative of an ancient culture from the fragments that survive the crushing weight of time, is decidedly fraught with misgivings and inherently problematic - but, you know they are going to do it anyway.
